Chairperson DDC Ramban holds Mega public outreach camp at Dheeda

Ramban : Chairperson, District Development Council, RambanDr.Shamshad Shan Wednesday presided over a mega public outreach programme cum Block Diwas meeting here at Dheeda in Gool.
The public outreach program was organized by the District Administration which witnessed overwhelming participation of localsand PRIs who apprised the DDC Chairperson about various issues and grievances and sought here intervention for the redressal of the same.
BDC Chairperson Gool, Shakeela Begum; DDC Councilor, Sakhi Mohd; ADC, HarbansLal; SDM Gool GiasulHaq; DFO Ramban, Rajan Singh, CHO, XENs, Tehsildar Gool, BMO and other field functionaries of various departments were present during the camp.
The PRIs and locals apprised the chairperson about their issues like shortage of staff in educational institutions, immediate need for Up-gradation of PMGSY Dheeda road, the NABARD road from GohraGali to Zero Morh, holding of Revenue camp, sanctioning of irrigation koul for Dheeda, release of pending compensation for structures and land, benefits of PMAY, opening of Awas Plus portal, requirement of Electric poles and transformers, inclusion of deserving families in BPL and other related issues concerning their respective areas. Most of the issues pertaining to different departments were resolved on the spot by the Chairperson during the camp.
During the camp, the ADC elaborated in detail theprogress and targets achieved by different departments. He assured the public that their genuine demands would be redressed in a time bound manner. He also directed the officers to reach out to each and every beneficiary who falls under different beneficiary and job oriented schemes.
The officers of the Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry department sensitized the general public about theschemes of their departments. They urged the people to avail the benefit of the schemes.
After listening patiently to the demands of people, the Chairperson passed on spot instructions to the concerned departments for early execution of these works as demanded by the public during the camp.
The DDC Chairperson also assured the locals that their issues and demands put forth Wednesday would be taken up with the higher authorities for timely redressal.
