It was not too past that a name,Ms Bisma Jan from Kuchmullah Tral, B-tech in computer science and engineering from Kashmir University, has made an entry into teaching world and was not least that’s what I think. Remember she had such a powerful influence in teaching primary classes. When she started the school, she was an average person with just enough enthusiasm, loaded with skills and abilities as everyone else in the teaching staff has given great appreciation and gratitude to the young teacher. She was full of energy-efficient and supported every student to be the best that could be. I remember the very first week of her teaching it is so vivid in my mind and raised different queries that pleased to me and i admitted where can we build our gratitude and strength in teaching line. “You are the best in the teaching line and favourite to me, pointed towards Headmaster, Irshad Ahmad!”very beginning she started her speech and expressed as she was mounting a horse beside her favourite teacher. She went on in her speech and highlighted infront of the audience of quiz competition and started her presence with full authority. After taking regular classes, she gave one of the most important speeches I have listened that students should come out of their shells with life and can change the world with name and fame. She raised her hands in gestures build up with effectiveness and efficiency when she wanted to talk and asked me if you wanted to allow her to catch up the movement where she can do the best in her teaching. She was sure that the ability in the students with discipline can raise them to top ranks of academic and professional career she has another great side that she was more civilized and controlled towards students in language and handling. This side was much needed in the career of teaching of anyone who wants to be stronger academician. There’s one thing that she has done before she started her teaching career that she was the part of the student’s activities and events. She used to enforce students that It’s the thing that students were born with and can excel their ‘common sense ‘in excellence and creation, everybody has it, because if you don’t have it, you weren’t born with the identity that the students usually have with. On the day of “dough Kneading competition” when I made my announcement before the audience i pronounce the word “dough” in Roman, she corrected me in pronouncing the word as” doh”, as per American and British language, someone in the audience answered in a low voice has all her mindset to provide the best of services in extracurricular activities too. That’s what often happens when teaching staff don’t use their common sense. They douse the teaching ability of others as well as themselves by their inert behaviour. I think Ms Bisma Jan was the most powerful source in our female teaching staff at an elementary level. Everyone there who has been going through the teaching could do the best of their talent demands but tell you the truth their shyness in expressing their talent can keep them at bay forever. Bisma Jan has taught everyone self-control, It is rare that you see someone who just starts teaching as a career or to be involved in formal instructions of education. In fact, if it weren’t for teachers, many people i know wouldn’t be in school any more or after their schooling couldn’t be seen in best of strata of society. She was not only a good teacher who taught discipline, but she was a great teacher who knew math, English, computer, reading and writing skills. Being taught of good teacher is an experience that no one forgets ever in his life, is a life time impression upon students.
One day, she got all of the students to enter in clay modelling contest. I, being an observer,i saw that she didn’t do miss any opportunity to show them every thing what their modelling demands. I summed up really an interesting stuff in those 2-hours of competition, and knowing that Bisma Jan,has a career with ability and excellency that is staunch in her life. She said in one of her speeches that in a private school as teacher it was her first experience. My mouth hung wide open. “Really!” I said with a excited voice. Then i thought no some have talent and going with it and to excel it more and more is really drafting a competing level of the person while going through any service of the society. She was good in art and drawing when i saw some of her posters unfortunately after the clay modelling, those were creative and innovative in every sense. Her professional career was so excellent with 76% marks in B tech with 1 lakh scholarship. She has given a great contribution to University of Kashmir by manufacturing a software is really a work of champions. When I thought deeply over and over again it is a “proud, proud, moment for us that on having her tremendous professional career and proved her mettle in short teaching career was amazing and beautiful. I’ve had some of the best teachers in our school, personality and desire to help the students to succeed are the qualities that l admired most especially in male teaching staff but in female teaching staff Bisma Jan was an amazing stuff. She did her best to make us understand, not help us to understand. She felt that she needs help that would allow her schedule to be fit in the school. In any school where there is a lot of competition among the students made her to seek out even for the smallest problems of the school. I stand with your honesty, compassion, equality and treating and helping the students the way they deserve are the traditional values you got and you deserve huge applause and salute from every teacher of the school.
