Gareeb Kalyan Sameelan: Live streaming of PM’s interaction with CSS beneficiaries hosted across distt’s of Jammu Div

Jammu : District Administrations of Jammu Division Districts Tuesday hosted live streaming of Prime Minister NarendraModi with PRIs and beneficiaries of various central government flagship schemes through virtual mode from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
At Udhampur: A mega event “GaribKalyanSammelan” programme was organized by District Administration Udhampur under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, UdhampurKrittikaJyotsna here at Government Degree College Udhampur.
BDC Chairman, Balwan Singh; DDC Councillor, Puran Chand; ADDC, AnuBehl; Chief Planning Officer, MudassirYaqoobZargar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral; MC Councillors, District officers besides beneficiaries of the district participated in the function.
The DC stated that the main objective of organizing this programme was to create awareness and to encourage the people to avail the benefits of different flagship schemes of the government. Similar events were also hosted at Sub Division and Tehsil levels.
At Rajouri: To mark the event, a grand program was organised here in the lawns of the PWD DakBunglow where DDC Chairman, ChowdharyNaseemLiyaqat was the Chief Guest, while DDC Members, BDC Chairpersons, eminent citizens, CSS beneficiaries were also present on the occasion.
The streaming event was held under overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal and witnessed the participation of more than 3500 people.
During the event, the participants listened to Prime Minister and LG Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha.
Some CSS beneficiaries also thanked the PM for the initiatives launched for the welfare of the general public.
Departments had also set up stalls at the venue for disseminating information about the government schemes and provide varied services like SEHAT registration, health check-up and medicine distribution.
At Samba: Prime Minister Address was also live streamed at Deputy Commissioner’s office Samba.
The event was attended by District Development Council Chairman, KeshavDutt Sharma; Vice Chairman DDC, Balwan Singh Deputy Commissioner Anuradha Gupta and other DDC Members, BDC Chairpersons, PRI members, beneficiaries of central schemes comprising about a gathering of 2000 persons.
At Ramban: District Administration Ramban hosted the live streaming in the Conference Hall Maitra. Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr.Shamshad Shan, Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, DDC Councilors, BDC Chairpersons, Additional District Development Commissioner, PRIs, MC Councilors, District Officers, general public and beneficiaries of different schemes witnessed the programme.
Earlier, participants witnessed the speech of Lieutenant Governor, J&K Manoj Sinha from Srinagar, who also distributed benefits of different schemes amongst the beneficiaries.
At Reasi: Live streaming of “GaribKalyanSammelan” programme was organized by District Administration Reasi under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, BabilaRakwal in the Auditorium of Conference Hall and in the BDO offices across the District.
The programme was attended by DDC Chairperson, Saraf Singh Nag, ADDC, JyotiSalathia, PRIs, and District heads of different departments besides more than 2000 people including the CSS beneficiaries
The event was organised across the district wherein PRIs, allied departments along with beneficiaries gathered in large numbers to view the live virtual session.
At Kathua: The virtual Mega event was live streamed at DC Office Complex & GDC Hiranagar in District Kathua.
At DC Office Complex, the PM’s address was virtually attended by DDC Chairperson Mahan Singh, DDC Vice Chairperson Raghunandan Singh, DC Rahul Pandey, CPO Uttam Singh, Chairman Kathua MC Naresh Sharma, President MC Parole Anil Andotra, PRIs, Centrally Sponsored Scheme Beneficiaries, Eminent Citizens and district officers.
Similarly, the proceedings of the event were also live streamed at GDC Hiranagar where over 1500 people from different walks of life attended the event.
