DLSA Bandipora organises Awareness Progon “Anti-Tobacco Day”

B’pora : As per the Plan of Action 2022, and calendar of activities for the month of May, 2022 District Legal Services Authority Bandipora Tuesday organised an awareness programme on “Anti-Tobacco Day” at Govt. Degree College Bandipora.
The programme was organised in coordination with Tehsil Legal Services Committees Bandipora and Sumbal and in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora under the guidance of Chairmanship of Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Bandipora Mohammad Ibrahim Wani.
The Programme was inaugurated by FariqaNazir, Secretary/Sub-Judge DLSA Bandipora along with Principal Govt. Degree College Bandipora Mohammad Amin.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure.
The theme of Anti-Tobacco Day 2022 is “Poisoning our planet”.
The programme witnessed participation of Students, Faculty Members, and Non-teaching staff of GDC Bandipora, PLVs of DLSA/TLSCs Bandipora and Sumbal participated in the said programme.
