DC G’bal urges PRIs to carry massive sanitation drives along Yatra route

G’bal : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir Tuesday urged the PRIs to play active role in keeping cleanliness along the yatra route during the Yatra period via Baltal route.
He said this during a meeting with PRIs and concerned officers to sensitize them about the measures to be taken regarding the sanitation along the Yatra route in the district.
The meeting was attended by BDC Chairperson Ganderbal, concerned Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretaries falling along the Yatra route in the district.
The Meeting was also attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, CPO, ACD, ACP and other concerned.
The DC urged the PRIs to sensitize the people in their concerned Panchayats regarding sanitation and avoid littering on roadside.
He also urged them to carry massive cleanliness drives involving locals in their concerned villages along the Yatra route and the waste collected shall be collected at the identified place which can be later lifted for proper disposal.
