Anantnag : A team of ARTO Anantnag Tuesday conducted a rigorous checking cum awareness drive on the various routes of Anantnag district against the drivers violating the traffic rules.
The main emphasis of the checking was “drive against the vehicles found without HSRP “.
During the drive about 300 vehicles were checked. An amount of Rs. 54200 was realized as fine from the drivers found violating traffic rules. Besides 10 vehicles were booked U/S 66/192 and others sections and expected to be realized an amount of Rs. 50000/ as fine.
It is in place to mention that ARTO Anantnag has on several occasions issued public advisories directing vehicle owners to get HSR Plates fixed from authorized vendors.
