Police organize reception for Bharat Darshan Tour-2022 returnees in B’pora

B’pora : Police in Bandipora organized a reception for the 150 students, who were part of the Bharat Darshan Tour-2022 under Civic Action Programme. The students returned back safely Saturday after more than a week.
According to a police statement, on the occasion, they were received by SSP Bandipora Mohamad Zahid and were accorded a warm reception at DPL Bandipora. DySP DAR Bandipora IshfaqAlam, who was also with the touring students, was also present on this occasion. Moreover the parents of the students were also present during the reception event.
While interacting with the students, SSP Bandipora congratulated them for availing the opportunity of visiting the different parts of the country. While sharing their experiences the students exhibited enthusiasm and happiness and thanked Bandipora police for giving them the opportunity. It is pertinent to mention that the group of 150 students of district Bandipora were flagged off by DC Bandipora and SSP Bandipora on 19/05/2022.The group visited various heritage sites in New Delhi, Banglore and Mysore.
The students described the tour as a great success and asserted that the tour helped them to gain new experiences and also gave them vast exposure, confidence and attaining new knowledge about the visiting places.
