Doda : To enforce the Food Safety and Standards Act, a DFCO team conducted an intensive market checking and lifted samples of essential commodities of various categories for quality check.
The Enforcement Officer and staff lifted 4 Samples in Shiva of Block Ghat and the Food Business Operators were directed to maintain record of documents including licenses and Registrations as well as proper records /Bills of consignments purchased from different outlets. Besides, all the shopkeepers were directed to act upon the instructions to ensure availability of safe, pure & wholesome food to the Consumers.
An awareness program was also organized for educating the Business Operators regarding the Food Safety Act & its provisions.
