DPO Bandipora reviews functioning of ICDS

B’pora : The District Programme Officer (DPO) ICDS Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak Saturday chaired a meeting of CDPOs of the district to review the implementation of various schemes of ICDS in district Bandipora.
Hakak took a detailed review of various schemes and their implementation. The meeting discussed threadbare various issues related to Anganwadi Centres, Implementation of ECCE, GEO Tagging of Anganwadi Centres, Identification of malnutrition and anemia among beneficiaries, Rationalization of Anganwadi Centres, training of Anganwadi Workers and helpers and conducting of village health sanitation and nutrition days and community based events at Anganwadi Centres.
The meeting also discussed various provisions of progress achieved under Pradhan MantriMatruVandanaYojna.
For effective implementation of the schemes, DPO called upon the concerned officers to widen and intensify public outreach programmes under various schemes so that the deserving could get the maximum benefits from the schemes run by the government.
The meeting was attended by CDPOs and other concerned officials of the department.
