Power shutdown in Jammu parts

Jammu : Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu has informed that the power supply to Kullian, Badyal, Kadyal Simbal, Simbal Morh, Makhanpur, TaliMorh, Darsopur, Sunderpur, Satraiyan, Chakroi, MES (Malpur), Sheetli, part of Sidhra, Bamyal, MES Nagrota, PHE Sheetli and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 28 from 7 am to 11 am.
Likewise, the power supply to Arnas, Dharmari, Mahore, SarhBagga, Ransoo and Dadua shall remain affected on May 28 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Kathua, Mahanpur, Sewa, HEP, Samba, Billawar, Ghatti, Hiranagar including Industrial Area, Railway Traction Supply Manwal and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 29 from 6 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua has informed that the power supply to BB Industry, Meen, Dashaal and Darni shall remain affected on May 29 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to SwankhaMorh, Rakh Jung, Jhangh and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 28, 30 and June 02 from 7 am to 1 pm.
JKCCA, RKM organize Rashtriya Kala Utsav
Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu in collaboration with Rashtriya Kala Manch (RKM), ABVP, Dehradun (Uttrakhand) organized two days Rashtriya Kala Utsav at MKP PG College, Dehradun in connection with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, and Pardeeip Shekhawat, State Organizing Secretary, ABVP (UK) were present as chief guests on the inaugural ceremony whereas Dr. Mamta Singh, State President, ABVP (UK), Kulwant Singh Gill and Dharminder Sharma were the special guests on this occasion. Dr. Rekha Khare, Principal, MKP PG College, Dehradun presided over the function.
A national level art exhibition and workshop on portrait making were held during the event. More than one hundred art works of the veteran, senior and young artists from Gujrat, Rajsthan, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi and Haryana have been displayed in the art exhibition. A demonstration on portrait painting of Subhash Chander Bose, in oil colours was given by Kulwant Singh Gill, a prominent portrait painter from Amritsar. Senior artist from Punjab Dharminder Sharma gave a demonstration on Rajsthani style of painting in acrylic colours.
O P Sharma, Director Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) felicitated Dr. Mamta Singh, senior artist from Dehradun, with the honour of ‘Artist of the Year- 2022’ for her meritorious services in the field of art. Dr Mamta Singh, prominent artist from Dehradun is also the Advisor of JKCCA. She is the State President of ABVP, Uttrakhand.
Speaking on this occasion O P Sharma said that ABVP is doing a good job in the field of art also. Pardeep Shekhawat said that an artist creates the spirit of nationalism among the people and preserves the pride of culture of the nation. The RKM, a wing of ABVP is doing all this among the college students. Dr. Mamta Singh said that ABVP is a natural source of love which we wish spread up to each countryman.
Among others, the followings were present in the inaugural ceremony- Rita Tiwari, Dr. Monika Bhatnagar, Anita, Poonam Rawat, Nagendra Bisht, Vishal Singh, Himani, Kusum Joshi, Kiran Kathawat, Dr. Alka Mohan, Dr. puneet Saini, Dr. Tulika Chandra, Dr. Jyotsana Sharma, Dr. Archana Shukla, Dr. Sangeeta Khular, Dr. Arti Shisodia, Dr. Renu Sexena, Dr. Hari Om Shankar, Bhawani Singh and Dr. Ajay Mohan.
