MSK B’gam conducts Awareness prog on Women empowerment at Chadoora

B’gam : The District Hub for Empowerment of Women-MahilaSashaktiKaranYojana (DHEW-MSK) Friday organized an awareness programme in collaboration with Special Cell for Women at PanchayatGharChadoora, here.
The DHEW- MSK highlighted the working and functioning of the District Social Welfare department at district level. The team raised awareness on different schemes like Pension schemes, Scholarship schemes, Prosthetic Aids, SMAS etc
The team also threw light on Women empowerment schemes available at District level such as MSK, OSC, WHL 181, Shelter Home, Marriage Assistance Scheme, LadliBeti, PMMVY, Employment generation schemes such as Tajeswani, Mumkin, PMEGP, etc.
The team also gave detailed information on how DLCW-MSK is playing an effective role by providing awareness/training among young female folks to generate self-employment by taking advantage of available schemes at District level.
The programme was attended by Sarpanches, Panches and official members of Block Development Office
