Police facilitates meeting with families of slain police personnel in Pulwama

Pulwama : Police in Pulwama facilitated an interaction meeting with families of slain police personnel who had laid down their lives in the line of duty. The meeting was held at DPL Pulwama & was chaired by DySP DAR Pulwama.
The meeting was organised to take stock of the welfare of the families of slain police personnel who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. A large number of NOKs of slain police personnel of Pulwama District took part in this meeting. During interaction, various grievances were raised by the participants and they were assured that these issues will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. The chairing Officer also informed the participants that various welfare measures have been taken by the Police department for the benefit of the NOKs and all the Police units are committed to provide every possible assistance to the NOKs of slain police personnel and attend their issues on priority.
The chairing officer while addressing the NOKs of slain police personnel, assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones in sacrificing their lives. He further said that J&K police will always remain indebted to their services by creating an atmosphere of peace & stability. NOKs of slain police personnel expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
