Distt Counselling Cell Jammu organises varied activities under Manodarpan

Jammu : To promote counseling themes prescribed in Counselling Calendar, District Counselling Cell Jammu, under the directions of Directorate of School Education Jammu, organized its second event under Manodarpan.
Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore was the chief guest. The theme ‘Delinquency’ was highlighted through activities like skit, role play, speech, paintings; mime, etc. by the students of different schools.
The Chief Education Officer congratulated the Counselling cell for its varied initiatives especially taken during post -covid pandemic to relieve students from stress and anxiety. He highlighted various counseling initiatives and said that happiness zones created in the schools are proving fruitful in easing the mental stress among the students and bringing a smile on their innocent faces.
The students from HSS Channi Himmat, GGHS Jourian, GGMS Chak Baghagwana, HSS (Boys) Akhnoor, HSS Marh participated in different events viz. role play, skit, speech, poster making, short story, slogan writing, etc.
District Counselling Coordinator, Shifali Gupta;Zonal Counselling Coordinator Hardeep Singh Jamwal and Faculty Counsellor Dr. Jyoti Malhotra spoke on the topic “ Delinquency” and created awareness amongst students about it. Ruhi Kousar, Shikha, Radhika, Rakesh and Neha guided and prepared the students for different events. The programme was moderated by District Counsellor, Pawan Sharma.
