DC B’pora pays surprise visit to HSS Arin, Interacts with students, takes feedback

B’pora : In a significant move to ensure High quality education for the students of Higher Secondary Level institutions, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr.Owais Ahmed Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Higher Secondary School Arin.
The DC checked attendance of the staff and took stock of the accommodation for staff members and students available in the institution besides other facilities. He also reviewed the sports facilities and co-curricular activities undertaken by the institution.
Dr Owais interacted with the students of various streams to get feedback of the educational quality and standard maintained by the institution.
He inspected the library, laboratory and class rooms of the institution.
The DC directed the head of the institution to ensure regular monitoring of classroom activities along with the practical tests for maintaining the high standard of education in the institution.
While interacting with the students, Dr.Owais urged the students to ensure moral and physical development along with the education. He asked them to remain goal oriented and shape their career opportunities without wasting time.
The DC was accompanied by ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan, ACD BandiporaAb Rashid Das, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad and other senior officers.
