Kishtwar : Taking a new leap towards promoting self-reliance among people of remote parts of Kishtwar District, a Marigold Cultivation Awareness Camp was Wednesday conducted by Indian Army in collaboration with District Floriculture Department, Kishtwar (J&K), here at Chas.
During the camp, farmers were made aware of Project AROMA and cultivation of Marigold as a cash crop.
The team of Floriculture Department, briefed the farmers on the method of cultivation of Marigold and Marketing. The camp was attended by 35 farmers from the area. 1000 saplings of Marigold were distributed among the selected farmers.
