Authorization of works under Distt Capex Budget 2022-23 discussed at G’bal

G’bl : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting to review the status of authorization of works approved under District Capex Budget 2022-23, here.
At the outset, the DDC was apprised about the progress on plan formulation, verification of works, estimation and status of other requisite formalities under District Capex Budget 2022-23.
The DDC directed all the concerned officers that tendering progress should be initiated at the earliest for all works which have been authorized so that such works/projects are started on time.
While interacting with the officers, the DDC emphasized that priority should be given to such works that have high impact on ground to meet the developmental aspirations of the general public while execution of works under District Capex Budget 2022-23.
The concerned departments were directed to expedite the pending estimations of all such works that are approved at an earliest and focus should be on holistic plan formulation covering all the sectors.
Meanwhile, the meeting also discussed the progress ongoing projects under various schemes including District sector, NABARD, Languishing, PMDP and other ongoing schemes and the DDC directed for expediting the execution such projects so that targets are achieved in a time-bound manner.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, IrfanGiri, DPO, and CMO, executive engineers of various wings, Dy CEO and other concerned.
