Pulwama : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, BaseerUlHaqChoudhary, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Pulwama, Dr Sheikh Abdul Aziz today held a special grievance redressal camp at panchayatGharBarsoo.
The camp was organized as part of a series of special grievance redressal camps being held to cover all villages enroute Annual Amarnath Yatra.
Delegations including PRIs and the general public put forth their grievances with regard to water supply, electricity, road connectivity, ration, healthcare, education and irrigation etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that the special camp is being organized to address the grievances of the general public en-route villages of Amarnath Yatra. He exhorted the officers from line departments to ensure that all public services are delivered efficiently to the public.
He assured the delegations that their genuine grievance would be resolved in a time bound manner and stressed upon the concerned officers to coordinate with the PRIs and general public, besides speed up the construction of all the ongoing works and complete them within the stipulated time frame.
The camp was attended by ADC Awantipora, Tehsildar Awantipora, officials from all line departments and representatives and PRIs from Barsoo, Jawbrara and Oudipora.
