Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday terminated the services of a civil judge with immediate effect, an official order said.
The order, issued by the department of law, justice and parliamentary affairs (judicial administration section), informed the removal of the Civil Judge (Junior Division)/Munsiff Naveen Jamwal. No reason was specified for Jamwal’s termination.
In his order, secretary to government Achal Sethi said the judge was removed on the recommendations of the full court of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
“Lieutenant Governor is pleased to order the removal of Jamwal from service with immediate effect,” the order reads.
