DC Doda reviews performance of Revenue deptt, Processing of FRA claims

DM also seeks report on state Land retrieved in 2021-2022

Doda : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma, Saturday chaired a meeting of officials of Revenue and Forest Departments here in the mini meeting hall of DC office to review the progress of land record digitization, eviction of encroachments, besides disposal of Forest Rights claims in the district.
During the daylong meeting, threadbare discussion was held with regard to the revenue components including writing and Digitisation of Jamabandis, Writing of KhasraGirdawari registers, Attestation of pending mutations, removal of encroachments from state/ kahachrai/ common land, alienation of Gairmumkinkhads, status of land acquisition for National Highways, Government Medical College, Degree Colleges and disposal of revenue court cases. Besides, progress on ADHAAR collection under RTLIS, DPCs and other revenue issues were also discussed in detail.
It was informed that till 2018 all the Jamabandis of 400 villages have been completed and uploaded on AZAN successfully. “Writing up of Khasra/Girdawari registers has been held up for the past few months due to the non-availability of the barcoded stationary which will be resumed when the same is provided by the authorities” the officials said.
The Tehsildars were asked to collect the ADHAAR Cards of all the landowners before the deadline to facilitate speedy issuance of the Land pass books.
The Dealing Section was also directed to submit the weekly progress on every Monday.
Regarding the pending attestation of mutations, the DC asked the poor performers to gear up theprocess, while Tehsils with least pendencywere directed to ensure the completion within a week.
Stressing on retrieval of all encroached state/ common/ kahachrai land, the DC directed the Tehsildars to ensure fencing, erection of boards and plantation of trees on the vacated land to prevent further encroachment. The Department was also directed to submit the report on anti-encroachment drives and land retrieved in 2021-2022.
Regarding tour diaries, the DC directed the HQA to devise an objective format which shall include the key components to be filled up by each Tehsildar.
The meeting was also informed that patwarkhaanas have been established and are functional, including model Patwarkhaanas in each Tehsil.
Meanwhile, the DC also discussed in detail the progress of land acquisition for roads, major projects, GairMumkinKhads, DPCs and other revenue issues.
While reviewing the processing of Forest Rights claims disposal, the DC directed the concerned to speed up the disposal of all pending cases at Gram Sabha level by mobilising the field functionaries.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ACR Doda, SDM Thathri, SDM Gandoh, SDM Assar, all Tehsildars, AO of DC office and dealing officials of revenue section of DC office.
247 vaccinated, 1161 samples collected in Ramban

Ramban|May, 21: As per District Immunization Officer Ramban, Dr Suresh the Health Department on Saturday administered covid vaccine doses to 247 persons including 60 children in the 15-17 year age group and 137 in the 12-14 year age group in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol, the enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by Chief Medical Officer Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department collected 1161 samples including 260 RT-PCR and 901 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 247 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
