ADGP Railway chairs security review meeting

Srinagar : A security review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sunil Kumar, worthy Additional Director General of Police, Railways J&K, at ZRPHQ, Kashmir.
According to a police statement issued on Saturday, the meeting was attended by GO’s / SHO / Incharge PPs of GRP Kashmir. During the meeting security related issues were discussed threadbare and on spot directions were issued by the officer to supervisory officers to avoid any unpleasant incident.
Besides, the officer held darbars at GRPS Baramulla and GRPS Hamray respectively, where the subordinate GRP personnel were asked to put forth their genuine grievances. The darbar was also attended by supervisory officers of GRP Sub Division Baramulla. The grievances so put forth were heard in length and patiently by the officer and on spot directions were issued to the concerned for the redressal of their genuine grievances.
On the sidelines, the officer also inaugurated newly constructed Dry Canteen at Railway Station Nowgam for the welfare of jawans. The officer appreciated the step and expressed hope that more welfare measures will be taken for welfare of jawans in future also.
