Dir School Edu Jammu inaugurates School Building at Belicharana

Jammu : Director, School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Friday inaugurated the newly constructed school building for Government Primary School Belicharana constructed by PIU Jammu under JTFRP through World Bank Funding.
The Technical Review Mission Team from World Bank officially handed over the newly constructed school building to the Director School Education Jammu.
Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore and ZEO SatwariRashmiRathorealong with JKTF Chairman Ganesh Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, while addressing the gathering, laid special emphasis on the Child-Centred curriculum to be followed in letter and spirit by the teaching community and highlighted the importance of Vocationalisationand Contextualisation of Education. He further assured everyone of full support and cooperation of the Directorate while helping the students to receive the best possible education along with suitable environment and adequate opportunities to push themselves towards success in life.
Interacting with the teachers, he laid stress on increasing the enrollment in Govt.Schools and encouraged the teachers to provide quality education to the students.
The program was also attended by the parents and VEC memberswho appreciated the progressive participation of the world bank team in the development of the education system through the Education Department and thanked the Directorate School Education for actively pursuing the issue and getting the school building constructed which will go a long way in helping the students of the area.
The committee members also thanked the HOI Sd. Harjeet Singh and other staff members for their commendableefforts and requested the Worthy Director to look into the probability of up-gradation of the school as the area could get benefitted further.
