B’pora : The Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Bandipora, Mohammad Arif Shah Friday made a surprise visit to various societies located in Block Hajin of District Bandipora.
He was accompanied by Supervisors and other concerned.
The Deputy Registrar while visiting the Sadhunara Poultry Cooperative Society Ltd SadhunaraHajin urged upon the chairman of the poultry society to make the unit functional within a period of one month and to clear outstanding recovery as per the terms and conditions as laid down in the agreement of the NCDC sponsored Poultry scheme. He warnedstrict action against the concernedas per law in case of failure.
An official informed that the Poultry Cooperative Society is NCDC fully funded and the society has received an amount of Rs. 38.68 Lakh against which a meagre amount of Rs. 2.25Lakh stands received till date as part of recovery.
The Deputy Registrar also visited MPCS Ltd Hajin. The management of the society apprised the Officer regarding various activities of the society.
They informed that almost all steps have been taken to diversify the business activities in the block. It was also informed that people of the area take various benefits from society including availability of products like Fertilizer, Pesticides, Choker, Feed, and Sugaretc at genuine andaffordable rates as compared to other retailers.
Later, Mohammad Arif also visited MPCS Ltd. Goshbugh was located in Hamray and urgedthe concerned for proper maintenance of assets of the department.
