G’bal : A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) was Wednesday held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir here to approve the cases under Mumkin and Tejaswini schemes of Mission Youth.
Mumkin scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme commercial vehicles are provided to them on subsidised rates.
After threadbare discussion, the DLIC approved 48 fresh cases under the Mumkin scheme out of 51 cases besides 06 cases were also approved under Tejaswini scheme.
The DC asked the concerned officers to generate mass awareness among the educated and unemployed youth of the district about the scheme and ensure their maximum coverage under the beneficiary oriented schemes.
The meeting was attended by all committee members including Chief Planning Officer, IrfanGiri, GM, DIC; AD Employment, SDWO, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI, District Manager Lead Bank and other committee members.
