AHD Kishtwar organizes awareness cum free medicine distribution camp at Pallali- Padder

Kishtwar : A veterinary infertility awareness cum free medicine (mineral mixtures) distribution camp for the farmers of far-flungPanchayatPallali of Paddar was organised by the Animal Husbandry Departmenthere under the SCA to SCSP plan.
The farmers were made aware about different Governmentschemes related to the Animal husbandry department and imparted firsthand knowledge about best practices for improving productivity and health of the animals.
Dr Sunil Kumar VAS Gulabgarh advised the participants to adopt best livestock management practices prescribed for different weather conditions to get maximum milk production. He appealed to the public to cooperate during vaccination and do tagging of left out animals. He encouraged the local youth to set up Dairy units to earn livelihood and improve the economy of area. PRIs ofPallaliPadderwere also present in the camp.
Public of area appreciated the initiative of the AHD as it was first of its kind camp held in this far-flung area by any deptt and requested to organise more such camps in future.
