Anantnag : National Lok-Adalat was Saturdayorganized in District Court & other sub-ordinate courts of District Anantnag under the Chairmanship of PDJ Anantnag, Naseer Ahmad Dar.
By the concerted efforts of presiding officers of all the courts, cooperation rendered by the learned advocates and officers of various government departments, insurance companies and banking institutions, a total number of 11,381 cases were taken up by 07 benches in the district out of which 10,257cases were settled.
An amount of Rupees Twenty-one Crore Eighteen lacs Eleven Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-Nine was awarded ordecreed in Bank recovery cases, Including Rs. 46.95 lacsawarded in sixteen MACT cases.
