Dr Jitendra e-inaugurates 9 newly completed PMGSY Roads, 4 bridges in Kishtwar Distt

Work on 12 more projects in full swing: DCC chairperson

Kishtwar: Union Minister of State Dr.Jitendra Singh Saturday e-inaugurated 9 newly completed PMGSY Roads & four Bridges in different parts of the Kishtwar District.
Giving details here at a press briefing, District Development Council Chairperson (DDC) Pooja Thakursaid that the Union Minister e- inaugurated the newly completed Shiv Nagar to Sranwan and Shalimar to Trigam Stage-II PMGSY road project in Block Kishtwar; Machhipal to Chamoti road in Block Drabshalla; UdilGojran to Batwari road, Passarkoot to Naidgam road, MulchitterPaie to MulchitterBalla road, Parna to Bunda road, Guzzer to Gurinal road and Link Road to Trashi in Block Inderwal.
She further informed that the Union Minister also e-inaugurated 37 Mtr span single-lane deck type steel motorable bridge and 30 Mtr span single lane deck type steel motorable bridge on Karool to Badhat road, 40.5 M span bridge at KM 6th Rd 35-75 on Duri to Ghan road and 63 m span single lane motorable bridge over river Chenab at Km 600-700 on Kandni to Ohli Road.
She hailed the untiring efforts of the Govt and congratulated the people of Kishtwar on the completion of these important Roads and bridges which will provideconnectivity to about 30,000 souls of the district.
She also informed that the work on 12 more roads was in full swing and these areexpected to be completed before September 2022.
The roads includes Gulabgarh to Ligri road, KishtwarPaddar Road to Bhagna road, Kwar to Cheerji road, KK Road to Shanna road, Dharbadan to Anjole road, Drabshalla to Bhugrana road, Agral to Lawa road, Shandri to Chalasoo road, Kundal to Affani road, Bhagana to Dachhla road, Gurian to Pochhal road and Kuleed to Wasser road.
She also sought active participation of public in the developmental process to enable the district to achieve new heights of development.
