Annual Sports Day function held at Pologround sports complex

Srinagar :J&K Sports Council in collaboration with Delhi Modern Public School, Pampore organized Annual Sports day 2022 at Pologround playfield, Srinagar.
More than 1200 School students and parents were present besides staff members of the school and officials of the J&K Sports Council.
Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gull presided over the function as the chief guest and felicitated the participants of the event, prominent among them being the medalists of the recent 5th PencakSilat Federation Cup 2021-22.
School children presented many drills and Sports Skills on the ocassion which left the audience spellbound.
The Secretary Sports Council while interacting with participants asked for suggestions to further strengthen the training and coaching at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, she also assured the school of her support in all the sports endeavours in future.
Secretary Sports Council was flanked by NeelofarMantoo, Administrator, DMPS, S.N Geelani, Founder Delhi Modern Public school, Principal DMPS and Mohammed Iqbal, Manager Pologround sports complex Council and other guests.
The function culminated with the PencakSilat demonstration and “say no drugs” oath by all the participants.
