J&K Group of Concerned Citizens condemns “innocent killings”, demands independent “judicial probe”

Srinagar : The “Group of Concerned Citizens ” ( J&K GCC) while decrying ” return of innocent killings ” in Kashmir has condemned the “dastardly murder” of Rahul Bhat while on duty at Tehsil Office ,Chadora on April 12.
In a statement issued here on Friday the Group while condemned the killing of Rahul Bhat in the line of duty has also strongly deprecated the killing of Constable Reyaz Thokar who was on Friday (today) in the wee hours shot at point-blank by unidentified gunmen at his Gadura( Pulwama ) residence and succumbed to his injuries at the Army Base-Hospital , BB Cantt. Srinagar .
” It is simply outrageous, inimical to the interests of common people and highly hurting . While offering heartfelt Condolences to the bereaved families , the GCC demands a judicial inquiry into these gory incidents to bring the perpetrators to justice “, the statement reads.
