BGSBU to offer PG in Persian, Hindi, Gogri & Pahari: Prof. Akbar

Rajouri : Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri has decided to introduced three new post graduate programmes including MA Persian, MA Hindi and MA Gogri & Pahari. Admission to these PG programmes will be offered from the forthcoming academic session.
According to a statement issued by the University the decision was taken in a high level committee under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Prof. Akbar Masood. Terming this as a historic decision, Prof. Akbar said that this decision will help the students of Rajouri and Poonch in particular and from across the country in general to persue higher studies and research in Persian, Hindi ,Gogri and Pahari languages at BGSBU. Prof. Akbar said that the introduction of Postgraduate programme in Gogri and Phari has opened up new vistas of opportunities for the students of peer panjaal region. He said that this will help in the long way in strengthening and preserving Gogri and Pahari languages. Prof. Akbar said that with the introduction of PG programme in Gogri and Pahari, BGSB University has the distinction of being the first University of the Country to offer such programme.
