VC BGSBU visits hostels, interacts with students and scholars

Rajouri : In the middle of the night, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Akbar Masood made a surprise visit to the University’s boys hostels and took stock of various various facilities provided to the boarders.
After inspecting the facilities for students, the Vice Chancellor interacted with students and scholars. Prof. Akbar assured the students and research scholars that the suggestions put forth by them with regard to further streamlining of the hostel would get due consideration at the appropriate level.
Prof. Akbar issued on spot directions to the concerned officers to augment facilities in the hostels.On the Occasion , Prof. Akbar checked various records and attendence of staff and boarders.
The Vice Chancellor directed the wardens and resident wardens to ensure the health and safety of boarders staying in various hostels of the University. The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by Dean Academic Affairs Prof Iqbal Parwez, Mr.Mohd Ishaq Registrar, Mr. Suneet Gupta Joint Registrar and other senior functionaries of the University.
