Dir SHD Jammu inspects departmental activities in Rajouri distt

Jammu : Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, KrishanLal Thursdaytook a detailed review of departmental activities being undertaken for welfare of the farming community in Rajouri during a daylong tour of the border district.
During the tour, the Director inspected harvesting and baling operations being undertaken in Fodder Development Farm at Lam. He directed the concerned to be vigilant to prevent any attempt of encroachment on the farmland and ensure protection of crop from stray/private animals.
He also inspected Veterinary Assistant Surgeon office Nowshera and reviewed its functioning. He asked the officer/officials to work for the welfare of Sheep/Goat Breeders of the area.
During the visit, the Director was accompanied by Satish Kumar Sharma Deputy Director (Feed & Fodder) Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu.
