Anantnag : The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Anantnag, Mohammad YousufGorsi Thursdaylaid the foundation stone of the road from Amad zoo to GrendAish, here.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said the active involvement of PRIs has given a major boost to development initiatives of the government adding that a number of such projects are being executed and completed in the district.
He said that while more than 4000 projects were completed last year, he is hopeful that development will continue at the rapid pace to completely transform the rural landscape in the district. He said that road connectivity is of utmost importance and paves the path for prosperity of the region.
