CEO B’pora hands over Rs 5 lakh cheque to DC B’pora

B’pora : The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bandipora, AbRoubShaad accompanied by Deputy Chief Education Officer, Bandipora on Thursday handed over a cheque of Rs five lakh as Red Cross contribution to Deputy Commissioner (Chairman, District Redcross Society) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad.
On the occasion, the CEO informed that it has become possible due to best and collective efforts of the education department, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and their parents. He said all the students have voluntarily donated understanding the funds being used for the poor and needy during natural disasters and calamities.
The DC appreciated the efforts of the department in contributing for the noble cause and also issued appreciation letter in favour of the department.
