Bring killers of slain Pandit employee to justice, provide necessary succor to his family : Soz tells JK Govt

Srinagar | May,13 : Former Union Minister Prof Saif Ud Din Soz on Friday asked the J&K Government to bring killers of slain Kashmir Pandit Employee Rahul Bhat to justice and provide necessary succor to his family.

In a statement issued here on Friday Soz said “I feel extremely sad that an innocent citizen belonging to Kashmiri Pandit Community has been assassinated by unknown militants”, adding that “It is a wide-ranging feeling in Kashmir that Rahul Bhat was a law-abiding citizen of Kashmir, least interested in public controversies”.

Stating that the “killing of Rahul Bhat has evoked widespread condemnation”, Soz in it’s statement further said “I offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved family”, adding that “I urge the Administration to bring the killers to justice, as early as possible”. In the concluding para of it’s said Soz said “I also urge the Administration to provide necessary succor to the family concerned, who lost their breadwinner.”
