Forest Division Ramban organises Technical Session on PARIVESH portal

Ramban : Forest Division Ramban, on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, organized a technical session on PARIVESH portal in the Conference Hall of District Administrative Complex here Tuesday.
PARIVESH is a web based, role-based workflow application which has been developed for online submission and monitoring of the proposals submitted by the proponents for seeking Environment, Forest, Wildlife and CRZ Clearances from Central, State and district level authorities.
The session was attended by different user agencies, representatives from PWD, PMGSY, PHE, RDD, PHE etc with all Range Officer and Block Officers of Ramban Forest Division.
During the interaction session, a detailed deliberation was given by Dr Rajan Singh through PowerPoint presentation. He said that many developmental projects need forest land which needs to be diverted for the non-forestry purposes under the provisions of the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 by applying on online PARIVESH Portal.
It was informed that a lot of user agencies are facing issues while uploading and processing of the cases of forest clearances on the online Portal as a result of which faulty proposals are being submitted and EDS are raised at the levels of Regional Office/Nodal Officer/DFO.
In the end, the queries were raised by the user agencies which were replied to by the DFO.
