Delegations call on DC Baramulla

Baramulla : Several delegations Tuesday called on Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed SehrishAsgar at her office Chamber, and here warmly welcomed her on assuming charge as Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and also appraised her about various issues of public importance.
The delegation comprising representatives of Traders Federation Sopore, Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Baramulla, Fruit Mandi Association Sopore and Fruit Association Baramulla Sopore appraised the DC about various issues and demands for the socio economic development of the area.
The representatives of Fruit Mandi Association Sopore said that Fruit Mandi Sopore is the Asia’s second largest fruit Mandi and sought the support from district administration Baramulla to streamline its functioning.
Trader’s federation Sopore appraised the DC with regard to the immediate removal of encroachment on footpaths.
Other Delegations including Gurdawara Prabandhak Committee Baramulla also appraised DC with regard to the various issues and sought her intervention for timely redressal of their demands.
The DC gave a patient hearing to the demands put forth and assured deputations that all the genuine grievances shall be looked into and taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal.
