DE&CC holds Career Counseling/ guidance session at GPC, Kulgam

KulgamThe District Employment and Counseling Centre Kulgam Tuesday conducted a Career Counseling cum guidance session at Government Polytechnic College (GPC) Kulgam, here.
The session was attended by a good number of students from different courses of the college.
Principal Govt Polytechnic College Kulgam, ShafaqatYousuf, Employment Officer DE&CC Kulgam,Rozi Jan and other officerswere alsopresent on the occasion.
During this session, students were counselled about various career opportunities available to them after their studies.
A brief overview of the employment scenario and job market trends was also given to the students.
Participants were made aware about various self-employment schemes of the government, and emphasis was laid on entrepreneurship and self-employment
A live demonstration of the registration on the employment portal was also presented during the session.
