GDC Kishtwar organise ‘ShahidoKo Shat Shat Naman’ prog to felicitate families of “Martyrs”

Kishtwar : As part of ongoing campaign “ShahidoKo Shat ShatNaman” Government Degree College Kishtwar on Monday organised a tribute paying event to commemorate the contribution of the “Martyrs” and to honour the families of Martyrs.
The families of Martyrs were presented “ShauryaSmriti Chin” mementos by the College Principal Anirudh Sharma at the event organised on the direction of Col. S.S. Rawat, Commanding Officer, 2 J&K (I) Coy NCC Bhadarwah.
Lt (Dr.) Madhu Bala and CTO Akshay Sharma besides students and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
In his address, the College Principalsaid that the sacrifices made by these heroes will always be remembered. NCC cadets also paid homage to the Martyrs bysinging patriotic songs and delivering motivational speeches.
The recipients of the mementos were SWR Varinder Kumar Sharma, memento received by BihariLal Sharma (Father), LNK Baljeet Singh memento received by Meena Devi (Wife), LNkRavinder Singh Malik, memento received by Rita Devi (Sister), Sep. Tej Ram, memento received by Premi Devi (Daughter), Rfn Sanjay Kumar, memento received by Raju Kumar (Brother),RfnFirdose Ahmed, memento received by Nasir Hussain (Brother), LNkKhushi Ram Parihar, memento received by Koshalaya Devi (Wife), Sep Munshi Ram, memento received by Amandeep Thakur (Nephew)
