DC Udhampur holds introductory meeting with officers

Udhampur : After taking over as Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, KrittikaJyotsna Monday convened an introductory meeting with officers of line departments here at Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.
While interacting with District/Sectoral officers, the DC askedfor adoptingpeoplefriendly approach in all the Government offices of the District.
District officers were asked to work with utmost dedication and zeal to provide hassle-free delivery of services to the people. She called for maintaining accountability and transparencyin the working of all Government offices. “The officers should focus on effective implementation of Government policies and programmes on the ground level so that benefits percolate down to the grassroots level” she said. The DC directed to adopt an action oriented approach for prompt redressal of public grievances, besides reaching out to people with all the basic amenities. She extended her best wishes to all the officers on the occasion. She further asked officers to closely monitor the ongoing development works for their implementation and to achieve the set targets on the developmental front.
DFO, ShavetaJandial, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, Chief Planning Officer, MudassirYaqoobZargar, PO IWMP, SapnaKotwal, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dharam Paul and other District heads of the line departments were present in the meeting.
