ADGP Armed J&K Decorates Newly promoted Officers with Ranks

Srinagar  S.J.M Gillani Addl. Director General of Police Armed J&K and his staff officer Shri Mahmood Ahmad SSP decorated Sajad Hussain Shri Javid Ahmad of Armed Police Headquarters with rank today on their promotion as DySP and HC respectively during a pipping ceremony held at APHQ J&K Srinagar. The event was attended by all Gazetted and Non-Gazetted officers of Armed Police Headquarters including Sajad Hussain Dy SP (S) Pvt. Secretary to ADGP Armed J&K, Abdul Hamid Dar DySP(Pers), Gh. Hyder Inspr. (Pers) APHQ, Ab. Rashid SI (S) PA to ADGP Armed and Krishan Saroop-SI I/c Research & Development Branch, APHQ.
Initially appointed as Sub-Inspector in Sports category, Sajad Hussain was promoted as Inspector in the year 2005 and as DySP on April 28, 2022 vide Govt. order No.121 of 2022 issued by Home Department J&K. Similarly, Javid Ahmad was promoted to the rank of Head constable among others vide APHQ J&K order No. 359 of 2022 dated 25-04-2022.
While congratulating Sajad Hussain and Javid Ahmad for their promotions to the rank of Dy SP & Head Constable respectively, the ADGP Armed said that the promotion processes of eligible officials of J&K Armed Police shall be initiated as and when the vacancies arise in any rank. He advised the officers and officials to work hard, maintain discipline and always come up to the expectations of people. He assured them that their welfare and professional career shall be taken care of by the department on priority. The ADGP Armed J&K wished best of luck to all the promotees and extended his warm greeting to their families as well.
