Police accord warm send-off to retiring officers on superannuation in Budgam

Budgam: Farewell function was organized by Police in Budgam to accord warm send-off to the officers who have superannuated from their active services.
According to a police statement, the superannuated officers include Syed Zahoor Ahmad (Accounts Officer) and Ashraf Ahmad Masoodi (ADO) of Budgam Police. SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem along with other officers presented gifts and mementos as a token of goodwill gesture and respect to retiring officers for their exceptional services spanning over more than three decades.
The farewell function was also attended ASP Budgam Gowhar Ahmad, Dy SP Hqrs Budgam, Dy SP DAR DPL Budgam, SDPO Magam, SDPO Charar-e-Sharief, SDPO Khansahib and other officers of Budgam Police.
SSP Budgam while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officers, conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officers and prayed for his good health and success post-retirement. Both the superannuating officers also addressed the function and shared their year’s long experience in the department and thanked the department for such an impressive send-off.
