Dir FCS&CA tours Rajouri & Poonch distts, Reviews stock & supply position of ration & LPG

Rajouri : Director Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Saturday concluded his tour to the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch after reviewing the working of the department in the twin border districts.
During the tour, the Director visited and checked food stores, FPS/GSD’s, TSO Offices and held interaction with the public, DDCs, BDCs and PRIs in Tehsil Balakote, Mendhar, Mankote, Haveli (Poonch Khas), Surankote and Bufliaz in District Poonch.
He also held interaction with field staff and dealers at Tehsil Manjakote and HQ Rajouri in District Rajouri where he took stock of the supply position in the district, availability of petroleum products including LPG, status of Aadhar seeding, market checking, online transaction and POS besides stocking of essential commodities.
The staff of the FCS&CA Department also apprised the Director about a number of issues confronting them who assured to redress their genuine concerns in a time bound manner.
The Director also urged the officials of the department to work with zeal and enthusiasm to improve overall functioning of the department and provide timely ration supplies to the public at their doorsteps.
The Director also stressed for ensuring a transparent and efficient public delivery system and also made it clear that no laxity in this regard will be tolerated.
He also asked the officers/officials to serve the consumers in a better and a professional manner so that they don’t face any difficulty.
