DDC Rajouri reviews performance of PMGSY

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Saturday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress achieved under the PMGSY sector in the district.
Officers who attended the meeting included ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, SubashChander; AEE Budhal, Mohd Akram and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the DDC took a comprehensive stock of the physical and financial achievements in both Rajouri and Budhal subdivisions.
Taking stock of the progress in Rajouri subdivision, the meeting was informed that out of 192 schemes, the work on 165 schemes has been completed in all respects, while rest would be completed shortly. It was further informed that 190 KM road has been blacktopped during the financial year 2021-22 in Rajouri Sub Division.
Similarly, the meeting was informed that in Budhal subdivision, out of 124 schemes, 102 have been completed and the work on the rest was expected to complete by the end of September this year. It was also informed that 84 KM road has been blacktopped in the subdivision during the financial year 2021-22.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to ensure time bound completion of work on the projects so that necessary benefits in terms of connectivity are provided to the common masses.
He also directed the Executive Engineers to ensure close monitoring of the work on the projects being executed in their respective jurisdictions.
