DC Rajouri conducts surprise inspection of Govt Offices

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of Government Offices to check the attendance of the staff and delivery of services to the general public.
The DC inspected One Stop Centre, Mahila Shakti Kendra, ARTO office and Government schools.
The DC asked the staff to remain available for the public and solve their problems and grievances without any delay. He further asked to ensure quality disposal of public grievances.
At Mahila Shakti Kendra, the DC emphasised upon the officials to expand the public outreach activities and carry out an intense awareness campaign about women centric schemes across the length and breadth of the district. While reviewing the number of cases solved by the MSK, it was informed that 22 cases have been solved by the Kendra.
During his visit to One Stop Centre, he inquired about the facilities provided to the aggrieved women, total cases registered and status of follow up cases at the OSC. The concerned officer briefed about the same. It was apprised that 450 cases have been solved by the centre so far.
The DC also maintained that no laxity would be allowed in maintenance of proper discipline, punctuality in Government offices.
Meanwhile, other teams checked 15 Government institutions during surprise inspections in Rajouri and the Koteranka subdivision.
It is pertinent to mention here that district Administration Rajouri is conducting surprise inspections periodically to ensure punctuality and promote work culture in the offices to benefit the general public.
The government offices inspected included JK Board, ExEn Mechanical Office Rajouri, ExEnJal Shakti Civil Office Rajouri, ExEn PDD Office Rajouri, JPDCL 02nd Subdivision office, Chief Animal Husbandry Office, Horticulture Development Office, Poultry Dev Office, ITI Rajouri, CMO office, District Veterinary Hospital, Employment Office, ZEO office Koteranka, Sericulture office and Higher Secondary School Koteranka.
