PDD develops portal for it’s employees to apply for transfers

Srinagar : Power Development Department in its endeavour to bring transparency and meritocracy developed online portal for the employees to apply for transfer in consultation with NIC J&K & JKIT department.
The online portal is accessible on the URL https;//pddtransfer.jk.gov.in.
The portal is linked to CPIS of the employee and providesoptions to the employee to apply for transfers across various offices/corporation in PDD.
The portal is to benefit around 20,000 employees borne on the cadre of PDD and are on deputation to various Corporations which include Jammu Power Distribution limited, Kashmir Power distribution Limited, J&K Power Transmission Corporation Limited, J&K power Corporation Limited, J&K PDC, and other wings of the department.
In addition to the option available for each employee against any post, the online portal is designed to provide the posting details/record sheet of the employee to employer and thus will bring transparency.
All employees/ DDO have been directed to update the CPIS data of employees for true and transparent assessment of employee.
