Conduct of Mega Health Camp: DC B’pora reviews preparations

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr.Owais Ahmed Friday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the preparations for conduct of Mega Health camp in the district.
Officers discussed threadbare arrangements made for smooth conduct of the Mega Health Camp which include identifying, enlisting and ferrying of patients.
On the occasion, Dr.Owais directed CMO, Medical Superintendent DH Bandipora and BMOs to finalize the arrangements and mobilize men and machinery for entire process to ensure smooth conduct of the camp.
He asked the concerned to keep ambulances ready besides another transport facility for ferrying of patients to and fro during the camp.
Dr Owais said, surgeries during the camp shall be conducted by team of specialists from across the countryat four locations including GMC Baramulla, Sub District Hospital Sopore, District Hospital Kupwara and District Hospital Ganderbal from May 11 to 19.
The DC also appealed public to avail full benefit of week-long free Mega Health Camp and get examined and operated by specialists from across the country.
He said prominent doctors from across the country shall be available in the health camps to treat the patients.
The meeting was attended by CMO Bandipora, BMO Bandipora, BMO Hajin, MS District Hospital Bandipora and other concerned officers. BMO Gurez and ZMOs/MOs also attended meeting via virtual mode.
