Hakeem calls for greater support for the working class on Labour Day.

Budgam : Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has called for greater support
for sandwiched working class amid rising cost of living, in his Labour Day message. He has urged for release of wages of all casual ,need based ,HDF , NHM ,ASHA and Anganwadi workers before Eidul-fitre.
In his message on the eve of Labour Day , Hakeem Yaseen while expressing his solidarity with the working class has thanked frontline workers,and caregivers for their exemplary work during the covid 19 pandemic adding that government should immediately concede to their demands especially regularisation of their services . Calling for greater support for sandwiched working class , Hakeem said that the rising cost of living has made its life most vulnerable and miserable . He has expressed serious concern over the failure of the government to check rising prices of all essential commodities including eatables, cooking gas, petrol and Diesel. He said lower income workers, are struggling with the increased cost of living adding that the higher prices of utilities, public transport, food and other essential items was a cause of concern and worry for all.
PDF Chairman while commemorating the World Labour Day has eulogized the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement, observed on May 1,all across the world.
