Div Com (J) declares open Ravi Tikku Speedball Championship

Jammu 1st Edition of the Ravi Tikku Speedball Championship was declared open by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr.Raghav Langer here at Indoor Sports Complex, International Delhi Public School.
The Championship was organised By J&K Sports Speedball Association in collaboration with International Delhi Public School, Jammu.
About 250 players of 20 Schools from Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur participated in the Championship.
On the occasion of opening ceremony Dr Raghav Langer Div Com Jammu who is also the Patron of J&K Sports Speedball Association was the chief guest, Munish Gupta (Editor-in-Chief Early Times) and Vijay Bakaya (Ex-Chief Secretary) were the Special Guest and Guest of Honour Respectively. Other Guests S. Suminder Singh (M.D IDPS), YashpalChoudhary (Director IDPS).
The Association Bearers Namely Pooja Malhotra (Founder Patron), A.K Attri (Sr. Vice President), TarunUppal (District President), Pawan Kumar (Event Secretary), Pushpinder Singh Charak (Vice President), MunishaChoudhary (Chairperson IDPS), Jyoti Gupta, SavitaSethi, Aastha Nanda (Members) were also present.
On the occasion, Pooja Malhotra welcomed the guests and officials on behalf of J&K Sports Speedball Association.
Dr Raghav Langer lauded the efforts Of Sunny Nanda (General Secretary JKSSA) for organizing the Memorial Championship and gave an Immense Tribute to Sh. Ravi Tikku and providing opportunities to youth budding players of schools. Sh. Ravi Tikku’s Wife SmtReemaTikku, Dr.N.MTikku (Brother),Mr & Mrs Rajeev Thussu (Brother & Sister.), Rhea Tikku (Daughter).
Vote Of thanks was presented by RandeepWazir (Principal IDPS).
