DDC asked the concerned officers to make sure that all the power feeders are maintained well in the district to ensure power supply to all the households of the district so that they don’t face any inconveniences.
Asking for maintaining a constant and reliable power supply in the hospitals and pumping stations, the DDC issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers for the same as critical systems in these institutions may shut down in the event of power outage.
While reviewing the drinking water supply scenario, the DDC asked the concerned officer to repair all the water motors within the shortest possible time so that proper water supply is maintained to all the households of the district while strictly adhering to the curtailment schedules.
Stressing upon the need to identify the vulnerable places where there is an acute shortage of water supply, he directed the concerned officer from the Jal Shakti Department to provide an adequate supply of water to the public at these places by taking appropriate measures.
He also directed for keeping provision of mobile water tankers in case of emergency.
Directing the officers to make every effort to ameliorate the hardships people are facing in summers, he asked them to take prompt measures to ensure the time-bound redressal of the genuine concerns regarding water and power supply.
He further directed the PDD and Jal Shakti departments to work in a coordinated manner so that water supply does not get affected due to outages as Jal Shakti schemes are power dependent.
