Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmit Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Saturday saod that 11 freshpositive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) including 07 from Jammu division and 04 from Kashmir division, raised the total number of positive cases to 454043. It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir and as such the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4750.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover,09 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals, 08 from Jammu division and 01 from Kashmir division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that18,450doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,26,98,334.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 454043 positive cases, 67are Active Positive (41in Jammu Division and 26in Kashmir Division), 449225 have recovered and 4751 have died; 2328 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24994825 test results available, 454043 samples have tested positive and 24540782 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 16,094 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6458198 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 28095persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 67in isolation and 500701 in home surveillance. Besides, 5924584 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Saturday, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 07 fresh cases, Srinagar and Baramulla reported 02 cases each while as no other district across Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
